Located in the heart of Songling Subdistrict, Wujiang District, Suzhou, the Wujiang Lize Sports and Cultural Plaza is a large-scale, comprehensive facility integrating sports and fitness, public activities, and community cultural services. The project comprises a multi-story complex and supporting commercial spaces. Our company provided custom architectural glass products for the project, including glass for terrace railings, the complex's curtain walls, and doors and windows for the commercial areas.
Glass Products Supplied
The building's exterior features custom tempered insulating glass, designed to match the structure's streamlined, curved, and stepped-back profile. This design balances aesthetic fluidity with thermal insulation, noise reduction, and energy efficiency, catering to diverse office and commercial uses while withstanding the region's seasonal climate variations.
The open-air terraces are fitted with high-strength tempered safety glass. The transparent, unobstructed design maximizes river views and complements the building's night-time lighting scheme. Upon breakage, the glass shatters into blunt granules, meeting safety standards for elevated areas; it is also resistant to wind, rain, and UV radiation, ensuring stability and reliability during long-term outdoor use.
Commercial units are equipped with tempered insulating safety glass. Excellent sound insulation blocks noise from the plaza, ensuring a quiet reading environment within the cultural center (academy), while high light transmission supports commercial displays and interior natural lighting, balancing the needs of both public cultural spaces and commercial operations.
