
Suzhou Bay Foreign Language School (hereinafter referred to as "Suzhou Bay Foreign Language School") was jointly established in 2015 by the People's Government of Wujiang District (Suzhou), Beijing Foreign Studies University, and Jiangsu Tianwu Investment Group. It is a high-quality private international school under the administration of Wujiang District. Located in Wujiang District, Suzhou, the campus covers an area of 161 mu (approx. 10.7 hectares) with a total building area of 99,000 square meters. The architecture features a European collegiate style, combining red brick with beige stonework and incorporating arched windows, arched corridors, an iconic clock tower, and octagonal turrets; the campus comprises academic buildings spanning various educational stages, functional facilities, dormitories, and other supporting structures. Our company supplied a full range of custom architectural glass products for this project, utilized in the main building's large arched curtain walls, the landmark clock tower and turrets, the arched doors and windows of academic buildings, interior courtyard corridors, and the doors and windows of classrooms, dormitories, and other functional spaces.

The iconic large arched section on the facade of the main academic building features large-format, custom-made tempered insulating glass. This integrates seamlessly with the beige stone and red brick exterior, creating an elegant European collegiate aesthetic. The glass offers excellent wind-load resistance, sound insulation, thermal insulation, and weather/aging resistance. It meets the standards for large-scale public buildings, ensuring ample natural light while blocking external noise to provide a stable, comfortable indoor environment for learning.
The facades of the campus's landmark clock tower and octagonal turrets are fitted with custom-made vertical tempered insulating glass. Tailored to the unique structures of these towers, the glass balances transparency—enhancing the visual appeal of the landmark—with the wind-load resistance and safety/explosion-proof capabilities required for high-rise structures. It resists fading and aging in long-term outdoor exposure, ensuring the landmark's enduring stability and performance.
The campus features numerous distinctive arched windows throughout its academic areas; custom-made tempered insulating safety glass is used for doors and windows in classrooms, laboratories, multi-function activity rooms, and offices. Designed for high-traffic campus environments, the product features exceptional sealing and energy-efficiency, effectively blocking noise from courtyards and the outdoors. Precision-crafted arched glass perfectly complements the European-style arched openings of the architecture, balancing safety, energy efficiency, and aesthetic appeal.
Tempered insulating safety glass is utilized throughout the enclosed inner courtyards, arched corridors, and student dormitory buildings. This ensures abundant natural light while maintaining privacy for dormitory residents. Upon impact, the glass shatters into blunt, safe fragments, meeting safety standards for campus dormitory architecture; it also offers superior thermal and acoustic insulation, effectively reducing air-conditioning energy consumption and meeting the daily operational needs of boarding schools.
