Check for Certification and Marks

Since the implementation of safety glass product certification in 2003, most laminated glass manufacturers nationwide have passed product certification. Companies must silkscreen or affix the 3C mark to the product itself, or affix it to its smallest outer packaging and accompanying documents (such as a certificate of conformity). When purchasing products, first check for the 3C mark, and then verify online, based on company information, factory number, or product certification certificate, whether the product meets the company's mandatory certification requirements and whether the certification is valid.

 

Check Appearance and Quality

Inspect the product's appearance. Laminated glass should not have cracks or delamination; the length or width of edge breakage should not exceed the glass thickness; scratches and abrasions should not affect use; defects such as bubbles, impurities, or other observable opacities in the interlayer should not exceed the requirements of GB/T 15763.3 standard.

During use, avoid external impacts as much as possible, especially for tempered laminated glass, avoiding impacts from sharp points. When cleaning the glass, be careful not to scratch, abrade, or polish the surface to avoid affecting its optical performance, safety performance, and aesthetics. Neutral adhesive should be used when installing laminated glass, and contact with acidic adhesives is strictly prohibited.
